The Gypsy Jazz Project
Mike O'Mara is an exciting multi - instrumentalist who brings his own ...

... unique interpretation to Jazz.

His talent as an innovative interpreter of the Jazz genre is increasingly popular as he emerges as a unique and energetic performer on piano, trumpet and violin.

Having lived and performed in New York for several years, Mike has recently returned to the UK to give UK and European audiences a chance to listen to his ever popular unique style.

Well renowned for his quartet The Gypsy Jazz Project and his own solo work, both of which demonstrate his talent as an arranger, collaborator and composer, Mike credits his style to several great jazz artists, notably Keith Jarrett, Chet Baker, Dizzy Gillespie and Louis Armstrong.

But it's from his audience that Mike draws much of his inspiration - Using his timeless vocal style, and his heavily influenced Jazz & Blues roots to give the audience what they want.

One thing's for sure, when Mike O'Mara plays - You listen.
